GCSE SPANISH AND FRENCH TUITION

GCSE Masterclasses

Beginning March 2025 I run an eight week GCSE Masterclass course which focuses on effective revision techniques and a stand alone session on each of the core assessed skills at GCSE (Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing). I bring my years of experience as a GCSE examiner into everything that we do so that students get in the mindset of thinking like an examiner and develop a real understanding of how they are being assessed in each skill and what they need to do to score highly in each paper. This is a small group tuition program limited to 6 students.

My most recent GCSE examining contract was Summer 2024 and I have accepted contracts with AQA and Edexcel for the Summer 25 series.

This is an 8-week course to give your child the boost in confidence they need in the run up to exam season 2025.

Classes run face to face in Liverpool Road Studios, 113 Liverpool Road, Crosby, L23 5TD from 4-5pm from Thursday 13th March 2025. The course fee is £144 which covers all materials, face to face tuition and access to an online classroom with extra revision materials.

Q1 - Do you offer 121 tuition?

From September 2024 I will be dedicating my time to my group tuition classes as I believe this is genuinely the most impactful way for students to learn. During certain points in the academic year I may open up limited 121 spaces for students who need extra support but priority for these will go to students who are already enrolled in my group program. I am always happy to have a quick call to discuss your needs and see if there's anything I can help with.

Q2 - Which exam boards does your group program cover?

My group program is designed for students following the AQA or Edexcel GCSE Spanish course.

Q3 - How many students are in the group program classes?

Group program classes are limited to 6 per group so places are extremely limited. This number is perfect as it allows students to share ideas, work through common mistakes and build their confidence whilst still getting the individualised attention and personalised approach that they would get from a 121.

Q4 - What skills will the GCSE group program cover?

The group program course will cover all four key GCSE skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Students will cover the full range of topics from the GCSE course, from Free Time to Festivals, School to Social issues. They will build an understanding of how the course is assessed and learn to think like an examiner. They will develop their confidence in speaking the language and develop a good grounding in grammar.
